All hail the greatness that is the Microsoft FrontPage 97 pre made homepage. I don't know HTML, I don't like HTML, but I do like homepages. And this is mine.
Now for some meaningless rambling about who I am and what exactly it is I do.

What is it I do? Well, I like almost any sport you can name, though I am the most proficient at basketball, volleyball, tennis, and golf. I am also a good skier, having spent time skiing with the Kimberley Freestyle Team. I enjoy surfing and hit the waves every chance I get and I find snowboarding to be fun as well. I also like rollerblading as well as ice skating. I am also a most excellent chess player, topping out as ninth in Canada during my scholastic playing career.
I am currently a student at the University of British Columbia where I study chemistry. My end goal is to become one of those guys with a degree who still doesn't know what he wants to do with his life. As far as academics go I have a pathetically low GPA despite being an honors student throughout my high school career. Yet I have connections to the business and research world so I'm sure I'll be fine.
I have had a variety of jobs in the past. Some of them were good and some sucked. I started my working career when I was 11 as a bus boy in a restaurant. Probably the worst job ever. Then I moved up to gas attendant which I did for a couple years. I then started work for a hardware store delivering appliances and building bicycles, snowblowers and lawnmowers. After my first year of university I managed to get a job with a research laboratory in San Francisco where I was a lab technician. And now I am a fire fighter. YAY for the career syllabus.
I drive a 1986 Hyundai Excel GLS. Now this is not a regular Hyundai, mine has been extensively modified from stock. In fact, I will share some of these modifications with you. My car has a special paint job complete with brown detailing (rust) and the hood has been changed to a special red version (I ruined the blue hood when I hit a Benz). The passenger fender has a special aerodynamically superior shape (My mom hit a deer). The rear tires are racing slicks (actually they are regular tires, just bald). It also has an especially cool sounding exhaust system (the muffler fell off last week). Actually I love my car. I've put over 60 000 km on it myself and the rest of it's 265 000 km were put on by my parents before they gave it to me for my sixteenth birthday. The only real thing I've changed is the stereo, I pulled the rockin' factory deck in favor of an Alpine CD player complete with remote control (is that useless or what?).
